Nesting?

i've been totally freaking out about our house. i can't sit still in the evening after work because i know there are a million things that i want to get done before the baby comes. and time is running out! i can easily name 10 projects that MUST be completed ASAP: patch corner in baby's closet, paint patch, install shelving in closet, paint ceiling in hallway, install baseboard in hallway, paint ceiling in bathroom, fix doors on vanity in bathroom, paint trim on bathroom doorway, buy and install new doors for bathroom, kid's rooms, and masterbedroom...i could go on, and on, and on. i sit around all day at work, working nontheless, but still..i sit most of the time (thank goodness) so i'm not exactly physically exhausted like OTHER people (hunny) when i get home. my brain is usually working the most when i'm at work, so it's actually relaxing to come home and do something mindless...like painting or cleaning, to distract myself from any stress or anxiety caused by more complicated matters at work.

so, the question is: is this behavior "nesting", or am i just being normal? :)

  1. It runs in the family. I never got that nesting thing. When we're there in August, we can do some of those projects for you. Don't worry about it. Just love your family and enjoy every moment together. That's what matters.
